Inventyl
BARCODE SCANNING

The barcode inventory app where the camera does the work

Point your phone at a shelf and count. No scanner gun required — though if you have one, it works too.

HOW IT WORKS

What you get

Scan with the camera you have
Your phone, tablet, or laptop webcam reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, and QR codes. Open the scanner, point, done.
Count up or down as you scan
Auto +1 mode for receiving stock, auto −1 for picking and sales, or manual mode when you want to type a quantity. Every scan lands in the log.
USB and Bluetooth scanners welcome
Already own a scanner gun? Switch to external mode and scan straight into the same inventory — the input stays focused so you can just keep scanning.
Snap an invoice to restock
The document scanner reads a vendor invoice or receipt and pulls the line items in, so receiving stock doesn’t mean retyping it.
Works offline
Inventyl is an offline-first app. Scan in the stockroom with no signal; everything syncs when you’re back online.

Which barcode formats can it read?
EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, and QR codes — via the device camera or an external USB/Bluetooth scanner.
Do I need to buy a scanner gun?

Does scanning work offline?
Yes. Inventyl works as an offline-first app — scans are recorded locally and sync when you have a connection again.
Is it free?
Inventyl is free to start, with no credit card required. Install it on your phone, point it at a barcode, and you’re running inventory.
